Our 2023 rankings named University of Massachusetts Amherst the most popular school in Massachusetts for public health students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 292 students majoring in public health at UMass Amherst, 16% are male and 84% are female.

Public Health majors at UMass Amherst take out an average of $23,809 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $165.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at University of Massachusetts - Lowell helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular public health schools in Massachusetts. Located in the suburb of Lowell, UMass Lowell is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 74% of the students majoring in public health at the school are women while 26% are male.

The average amount in student loans that public health majors at UMass Lowell take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $27,084. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $177, based on a 10-year repayment plan.
