San Diego, CA

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of San Diego helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in the Far Western US Region . USD is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of San Diego.

Of the 58 students majoring in nursing at USD, 12% are male and 88% are female.

Out of the 36 schools in the Far Western US Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Washington State University landed the # 5 spot on the list. Wazzu is a fairly large public school located in the town of Pullman.

University of San Francisco landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular doctor’s degree nursing programs. Located in the large city of San Francisco, USFCA is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

About 85% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 15% are male.

With a ranking of #7, University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for nursing students working on their doctor’s degree. USAHS is a moderately-sized private for-profit school located in the suburb of San Marcos.
