Our 2023 rankings named Liberty University the most popular school in Virginia for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. Liberty University is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Lynchburg.

Of the 369 students majoring in nursing at Liberty University, 10% are male and 90% are female.

Nursing majors at Liberty University take out an average of $29,474 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $554, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend James Madison University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Nursing Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Virginia list. Located in the small city of Harrisonburg, JMU is a public college with a fairly large student population.
