Our 2023 rankings named American Sentinel University the most popular school in Connecticut for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. American Sentinel University is a small private for-profit school located in the medium-sized suburb of Aurora.

Women make up 91% of the nursing majors at the school.

Nursing majors at American Sentinel University take out an average of $26,198 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Connecticut is a great place for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Storrs, UCONN is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 253 students majoring in nursing at UCONN, 18% are male and 82% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, nursing graduates from UCONN carry an average student debt load of $27,429. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $400.
