Our analysis found University of Hawaii at Hilo to be the best value school for nursing students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Hawaii. Located in the remote town of Hilo, UH Hilo is a public school with a small student population.

In-state tuition fees for undergraduate students at UH Hilo are $7,838 per year. On average, nursing graduates from UH Hilo take out $27,562 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at UH Manoa are $12,186 a year. On average, nursing graduates from UH Manoa take out $23,277 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $186.
