Our 2023 rankings named University of Minnesota - Twin Cities the most popular school in the Plains States Region for Germanic languages students working on their bachelor’s degree. UMN Twin Cities is a fairly large public school located in the city of Minneapolis.

Of the 21 students majoring in German at UMN Twin Cities, 48% are male and 52% are female.

Out of the 41 schools in the Plains States Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Nebraska - Lincoln landed the # 2 spot on the list. UNL is a very large public school located in the city of Lincoln.

About 58% of the students majoring in German at the school are women while 42% are male.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at University of Missouri - Columbia helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular Germanic languages schools in the Plains States Region . Located in the city of Columbia, Mizzou is a public school with a fairly large student population.
