Our 2023 rankings named University of Idaho the most popular school in Idaho for engineering students. U of I is a large public school located in the distant town of Moscow.

Out of the 10 schools in Idaho that were part of this year’s ranking, Boise State University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the medium-sized city of Boise, Boise State is a public school with a very large student population.

The excellent programs at Brigham Young University - Idaho helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best engineering schools in Idaho. Located in the town of Rexburg, BYU - I is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

Northwest Nazarene University landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular engineering programs. NNU is a small private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized suburb of Nampa.
After completing their degree, engineering graduates from NNU carry an average student debt load of $27,000.
North Idaho College landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular engineering programs. Located in the city of Coeur d'Alene, NIC is a public college with a small student population.
With a ranking of #8, College of Southern Idaho did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for engineering students. Located in the remote town of Twin Falls, College of Southern Idaho is a public school with a moderately-sized student population.
