Our analysis found University of Minnesota - Twin Cities to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Plains States Region . UMN Twin Cities is a very large public school located in the city of Minneapolis.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Iowa State University is a great place for engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the city of Ames, Iowa State is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 106 students majoring in engineering at Iowa State, 71% are male and 29% are female.
