Our 2023 rankings named Carnegie Mellon University the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the city of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
Of the 144 students majoring in engineering at Carnegie Mellon, 73% are male and 27% are female.
