Our analysis found University of Colorado Boulder to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Rocky Mountains Region . Located in the city of Boulder, CU - Boulder is a public school with a very large student population.

Out of the 31 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Colorado School of Mines landed the # 2 spot on the list. Mines is a medium-sized public school located in the large suburb of Golden.

About 31% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 69% are male.

United States Air Force Academy did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for engineering students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #8 on the list. USAFA is a small public school located in the fringe town of USAF Academy.
