This report analyzed 38 schools in New York to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University at Buffalo the most popular school in New York for engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. University at Buffalo is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Buffalo.

Of the 907 students majoring in engineering at University at Buffalo, 79% are male and 21% are female.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Cornell University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering schools in New York. Located in the city of Ithaca, Cornell is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

Of the 600 students majoring in engineering at Cornell, 49% are male and 51% are female.
