Our analysis found Old Dominion University to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue an online doctor’s degree in the United States. Old Dominion is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Norfolk.

The in-demand online doctor’s degree programs at The University of Tennessee - Knoxville helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best engineering schools in the United States. Located in the medium-sized city of Knoxville, UT Knoxville is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 111 students majoring in engineering at UT Knoxville, 72% are male and 28% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Michigan Technological University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Online Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools list. Michigan Tech is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Houghton.
