This report analyzed 16 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for engineering majors pursuing an online bachelor's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named Florida International University the most popular online school in the United States for engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. FIU is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Miami.

About 19% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 81% are male.

The in-demand online bachelor’s degree programs at Arizona State University - Skysong helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best engineering schools in the United States. Located in the city of Scottsdale, ASU - Skysong is a public college with a very large student population.

About 10% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 90% are male.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Brigham Young University - Idaho is a great place for engineering students working on their online bachelor’s degree. Located in the town of Rexburg, BYU - I is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 193 students majoring in engineering at BYU - I, 96% are male and 4% are female.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means National University is a great place for engineering students working on their online bachelor’s degree. National University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of La Jolla.

Of the 38 students majoring in engineering at National University, 71% are male and 29% are female.

Norfolk, VA

The in-demand online bachelor’s degree programs at Old Dominion University helped the school earn the #5 place on this year’s ranking of the best engineering schools in the United States. Old Dominion is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Norfolk.

About 17% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 83% are male.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular online places for engineering students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. Located in the city of Daytona Beach, Embry-Riddle Worldwide is a private not-for-profit school with a large student population.

Of the 19 students majoring in engineering at Embry-Riddle Worldwide, 84% are male and 16% are female.

University of Southern Indiana ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Online Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools list. Located in the medium-sized suburb of Evansville, USI is a public college with a moderately-sized student population.
