Our 2023 rankings named Central Connecticut State University the best value school in Connecticut for engineering students. CCSU is a medium-sized public school located in the large suburb of New Britain.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at CCSU are $11,542 a year. Engineering majors at CCSU take out an average of $28,550 in student loans while working on their egree.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Connecticut is a great value for engineering students. UCONN is a very large public school located in the suburb of Storrs.
