To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Mechanical Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Maryland - College Park to be the most popular school for mechanical engineering students who want to pursue a degree in the Middle Atlantic Region . UMCP is a very large public school located in the suburb of College Park.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend University at Buffalo. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Mechanical Engineering Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. University at Buffalo is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Buffalo.
