Our analysis found Purdue University - Main Campus to be the best value school for mechanical engineering students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Indiana. Located in the small city of West Lafayette, Purdue is a public school with a fairly large student population.
Purdue undergraduate students pay an average of $9,992 in in-state tuition and fees each year. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $572, based on a 10-year repayment plan.
