Our 2023 rankings named University of Michigan - Ann Arbor the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for industrial engineering students working on their master’s degree. U-M is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Ann Arbor.

Women make up 35% of the IE majors at the school.

Purdue University - Main Campus

West Lafayette, IN

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Purdue University - Main Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular industrial engineering schools in the Great Lakes Region . Purdue is a fairly large public school located in the small city of West Lafayette.

About 30% of the students majoring in IE at the school are women while 70% are male.
