To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Industrial Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Iowa State University the most popular school in the Plains States Region for industrial engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. Iowa State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Ames.

Of the 117 students majoring in IE at Iowa State, 69% are male and 31% are female.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, IE majors at Iowa State accumulate an average of around $23,078 in student debt. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $460, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.
