To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Purdue University - Main Campus the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for general engineering students working on their master’s degree. Purdue is a very large public school located in the small city of West Lafayette.

Of the 96 students majoring in engineering at Purdue, 66% are male and 34% are female.

Out of the 20 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Wisconsin - Platteville landed the # 4 spot on the list. UW - Platteville is a medium-sized public school located in the distant town of Platteville.
