To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering Science program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Harvard University to be the most popular school for engineering science students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Harvard is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge.

Of the 104 students majoring in engineering science at Harvard, 62% are male and 38% are female.

Notre Dame, IN

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Notre Dame is a great place for engineering science students working on their master’s degree. Notre Dame is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Notre Dame.

Of the 42 students majoring in engineering science at Notre Dame, 55% are male and 45% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Wright State University - Main Campus helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering science schools in the United States. Located in the large suburb of Dayton, Wright State University - Main Campus is a public college with a large student population.

Women make up 50% of the engineering science majors at the school.
