Our analysis found The University of Texas at Austin to be the best value school for electrical engineering students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Texas. UT Austin is a very large public school located in the city of Austin.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at UT Austin are $11,752 a year. On average, EE graduates from UT Austin take out $19,535 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $266, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

In addition to its best value ranking, and one of the reasons why the school is on the list, UT Austin is ranked #2 for overall quality for EE in Texas.
