Women make up 51% of the bio engineering majors at the school.

For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $602.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a great place for biomedical engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Worcester, WPI is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
