Out of the 30 schools in New York that were part of this year’s ranking, Rochester Institute of Technology landed the # 2 spot on the list. RIT is a large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Rochester.

On average, ME tech graduates from RIT take out $29,750 in student loans while working on their degree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $403, based on a 10-year repayment plan.
