This report analyzed 13 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for ME tech majors pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named Rochester Institute of Technology the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for mechanical engineering technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. RIT is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Rochester.

Of the 107 students majoring in ME tech at RIT, 87% are male and 13% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, ME tech graduates from RIT carry an average student debt load of $28,032. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $403.
