To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Education program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for education majors pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Massachusetts Amherst the most popular school in Massachusetts for general education students working on their bachelor’s degree. UMass Amherst is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Amherst.

Of the 35 students majoring in education at UMass Amherst, 6% are male and 94% are female.
