This report analyzed 52 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Phoenix - Arizona the most popular online school in the United States for information technology students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the large city of Tempe, UOPX - Arizona is a private for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 36% of the IT majors at the school.

Out of the 52 online programs at schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Maryland Global Campus landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the large suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 149 students majoring in IT at UMGC, 65% are male and 35% are female.
