To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Science program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Nova Southeastern University to be the most popular school for information science students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the United States. Located in the suburb of Fort Lauderdale, NUS Florida is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

About 24% of the students majoring in IS at the school are women while 76% are male.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a great place for information science students working on their doctor’s degree. UIUC is a very large public school located in the small city of Champaign.
