Our 2023 rankings named James Madison University the best value school in Virginia for information science students working on their bachelor’s degree. JMU is a very large public school located in the city of Harrisonburg.

JMU undergraduate students pay an average of $12,638 in in-state tuition and fees each year. On average, IS graduates from JMU take out $21,756 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $244, based on a 10-year repayment plan.
