Dayton, OH

Out of the 43 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Dayton landed the # 2 spot on the list. UDayton is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the midsize city of Dayton.

Illinois Tech is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Chicago.

Northwestern University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Computer Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Northwestern is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Evanston.

About 29% of the students majoring in compsci at the school are women while 71% are male.

Indiana University - Bloomington landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree computer science programs. Located in the small city of Bloomington, IU Bloomington is a public school with a very large student population.
