To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Computer Science program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Purdue University - Main Campus the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for computer science students working on their bachelor’s degree. Purdue is a fairly large public school located in the city of West Lafayette.

Of the 476 students majoring in compsci at Purdue, 79% are male and 21% are female.

This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $391, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Illinois at Chicago. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Located in the large city of Chicago, UIC is a public school with a fairly large student population.
