Our analysis found University of Georgia to be the most popular school for journalism students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the Southeast Region . UGA is a fairly large public school located in the city of Athens.

About 82% of the students majoring in journalism at the school are women while 18% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Full Sail University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Journalism Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. Full Sail University is a very large private for-profit school located in the large suburb of Winter Park.

About 62% of the students majoring in journalism at the school are women while 38% are male.
