Our 2023 rankings named Syracuse University the most popular school in New York for journalism students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the medium-sized city of Syracuse, Syracuse is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

About 52% of the students majoring in journalism at the school are women while 48% are male.

For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $557.
