To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Journalism program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Austin Community College District the most popular school in the Southwest Region for journalism students working on their associate degree. Located in the large city of Austin, Austin Community College District is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 77% of the students majoring in journalism at the school are women while 23% are male.

After completing their Associate Degree, journalism graduates from Austin Community College District carry an average student debt load of $13,608.
