To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Course Advisor has developed this Most Popular Online Journalism Schools ranking. This report analyzed 17 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for journalism majors pursuing an online .

Our analysis found Colorado State University - Fort Collins to be the most popular school for journalism students who want to pursue an online degree in the United States. Colorado State is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Fort Collins.

On average, journalism graduates from Colorado State take out $23,250 in student loans while working on their degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $468.

Gainesville, FL

The excellent online programs at University of Florida helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best journalism schools in the United States. UF is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville.

After completing their degree, journalism graduates from UF carry an average student debtload of $16,477.

Kansas State University

Manhattan, KS

The excellent online programs at Kansas State University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best journalism schools in the United States. K -State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Manhattan.

While working on their degree, journalism majors at K -State accumulate an average of around $22,852 in student debt. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $286.

Out of the 17 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Utah State University landed the # 4 spot on the list. USU is a very large public school located in the small city of Logan.

After completing their degree, journalism graduates from USU carry an average student debtload of $16,745.

On average, journalism graduates from SIUC take out $25,000 in student loans while working on their degree.
