In our regional and nationwide rankings, out-of-state tution and fees are used in our calculations. For statewide rankings, we use average in-state tuition and fees.

Best Schools for Affordable Quality for a Postbaccalaureate Certificates in Journalism

Our 2023 rankings named University of Missouri - Columbia the best value school in the United States for journalism students working on their graduate certificate. Mizzou is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Columbia.

The average tuition and fees for an out-of-state graduate students at Mizzou are $28,550 a year.
