Athens, GA

Our 2023 rankings named University of Georgia the most popular school in the Southeast Region for insurance students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the medium-sized city of Athens, UGA is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 233 students majoring in insurance at UGA, 62% are male and 38% are female.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, insurance majors at UGA accumulate an average of around $20,465 in student debt. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $160.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at University of South Carolina - Columbia helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular insurance schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the midsize city of Columbia, UofSC is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 124 students majoring in insurance at UofSC, 62% are male and 38% are female.

The average amount in student loans that insurance majors at UofSC take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $20,174. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $591, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

Tallahassee, FL

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Florida State University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular insurance schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 117 students majoring in insurance at Florida State, 68% are male and 32% are female.

Insurance majors at Florida State take out an average of $21,393 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

About 22% of the students majoring in insurance at the school are women while 78% are male.

On average, insurance graduates from Appalachian State take out $19,649 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $265.

University of Mississippi landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree insurance programs. Located in the remote town of University, Ole Miss is a public school with a fairly large student population.
