This report analyzed 11 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular online bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named East Carolina University the most popular online school in the Southeast Region for finance and financial management students working on their bachelor’s degree. ECU is a very large public school located in the city of Greenville.

Of the 156 students majoring in finance at ECU, 77% are male and 23% are female.

The average amount in student loans that finance majors at ECU take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $22,154. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $250, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

The in-demand online bachelor’s degree programs at Old Dominion University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best finance and financial management schools in the Southeast Region . Old Dominion is a fairly large public school located in the city of Norfolk.

About 38% of the students majoring in finance at the school are women while 62% are male.
