Our 2023 rankings named The University of Texas at Austin the most popular school in the Southwest Region for accounting students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Austin, UT Austin is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Out of the 66 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - College Station landed the # 2 spot on the list. Texas A&M College Station is a fairly large public school located in the city of College Station.

Grand Canyon University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Accounting Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region list. Grand Canyon University is a very large private for-profit school located in the city of Phoenix.

Texas Tech University landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree accounting programs. Located in the large city of Lubbock, Texas Tech is a public college with a very large student population.
