Our 2023 rankings named Metropolitan Community College the most popular online school in the Plains States Region for accounting students working on their associate degree. MCC is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Omaha.

Of the 36 students majoring in accounting at MCC, 19% are male and 81% are female.

After completing their Associate Degree, accounting graduates from MCC carry an average student debtload of $8,866.

The in-demand online associate degree programs at Southeast Technical College helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best accounting schools in the Plains States Region . Southeast Tech is a small public school located in the rural area of Sioux Falls.

Of the 31 students majoring in accounting at Southeast Tech, 16% are male and 84% are female.
