Our analysis found Manchester University to be the most popular school for genetics students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Located in the town of North Manchester, Manchester University is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.

About 85% of the students majoring in genetics at the school are women while 15% are male.

Baltimore, MD

Our 2023 rankings named Johns Hopkins University the most popular school in the United States for genetics students working on their master’s degree. Johns Hopkins is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Baltimore.

Women make up 69% of the genetics majors at the school.

Out of the 65 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Yale University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the medium-sized city of New Haven, Yale is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
