A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Baylor College of Medicine is a great place for genetics students working on their doctor’s degree. Baylor College of Medicine is a small private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Houston.

About 44% of the students majoring in genetics at the school are women while 56% are male.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Wisconsin - Madison helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular genetics schools in the United States. Located in the large city of Madison, UW - Madison is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 63% of the genetics majors at the school.

University of California - Davis did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for genetics students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the suburb of Davis, UC Davis is a public school with a very large student population.
