Our 2023 rankings named North Carolina State University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for biotechnology students working on their graduate certificate. NC State is a very large public school located in the city of Raleigh.

Of the 18 students majoring in biotech at NC State, 56% are male and 44% are female.

The average amount in student loans that biotech majors at NC State take out while working on their Graduate Certificate is $21,350.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Alabama at Birmingham is a great place for biotechnology students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the midsize city of Birmingham, UAB is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 13 students majoring in biotech at UAB, 15% are male and 85% are female.
