Our 2023 rankings named Tarrant County College District the most popular school in the Southwest Region for horticulture students working on their undergraduate certificate. Tarrant County College is a very large public school located in the large city of Fort Worth.

Out of the 10 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Mid-America Technology Center landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the rural area of Wayne, Mid-America Technology Center is a public college with a small student population.

About 83% of the students majoring in horticulture at the school are women while 17% are male.
