Our 2023 rankings named Virginia Tech the most popular school in the United States for general agriculture students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech is a public college with a very large student population.

Women make up 61% of the agriculture majors at the school.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Washington State University is a great place for general agriculture students working on their master’s degree. Wazzu is a very large public school located in the town of Pullman.

Of the 27 students majoring in agriculture at Wazzu, 22% are male and 78% are female.

Out of the 33 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - Commerce landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the town of Commerce, Texas A&M Commerce is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 67% of the students majoring in agriculture at the school are women while 33% are male.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means California State Polytechnic University - Pomona is a great place for general agriculture students working on their master’s degree. Located in the suburb of Pomona, Cal Poly Pomona is a public school with a very large student population.

With a ranking of #6, Tennessee State University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for general agriculture students working on their master’s degree. Tennessee State University is a medium-sized public school located in the large city of Nashville.

Of the 16 students majoring in agriculture at Tennessee State University, 44% are male and 56% are female.

Colorado State University - Fort Collins landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree general agriculture programs. Colorado State is a very large public school located in the city of Fort Collins.
