Associate of General Studies
PACE (Program for Adult College Education) is an academic program for adults who wish to begin or continue their college studies. Convenient scheduling is what makes PACE particularly unique and very accessible to adult students. The program offers general education courses arranged in a convenient format that makes the academic program very accessible and manageable for most adult students. The special class configuration permits students to enroll in a full academic load of general education course work while still maintaining work and home responsibilities. Classes are available in both traditional and blended/hybrid format. The blended/hybrid format further enables you, the student, to be in control of when you do you class work by using today’s computer/internet technology to support a virtual classroom. If you prefer traditional classroom courses, all classes are available in that format. If you enjoy the technology and reduced classroom time, blended/hybrid offerings will fit your need. The majority of PACE students come into the program with some former college experience. The flexibility of the program coupled with the student’s ability to transfer credit into the program and build a schedule of learning that fits your needs has strong appeal to adult learners. Classes are offered year-round, providing students the opportunity to move through the program of study at a pace that works for them.
