Computer Network Technology|Associates of Science
The program includes an intensive study of general computer science including PC architecture, desktop operating systems, and related computer courses to help to prepare you to: install, configure, maintain, and trouble shoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and intranets, using DOS and Windows-based network operating systems.
The objective of the program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions such as:
- Computer hardware repair technicians
- Network technicians
- Network administrators
- Network support administrators
- Network engineers
- Internet/intranet Specialists
- LAN/WAN technicians
- Network analysts
- Troubleshooting technician, and more.
