University of Phoenix M.A. Education/Curriculum and Instruction - ESL
The Curriculum and Instruction Program is an M.A.Ed. for educators holding a Bachelor’s degree and teaching in a P-12 or community college classroom environment. The objective of the program is enrich the curriculum and instruction repertoire of these educators to increase learning in their own students. The English as a second language (ESL) specialization focuses on instructional methods and materials for teaching English as a second language; theories for the acquisition of a second language; testing and evaluation of students studying English as a second language; and developing curriculum for ESL students.
