A master’s degree in information technology can prepare you with the communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and technical competencies to help advance your career. You are taught to evaluate the theory, principles, and practices of information systems; employ project management skills; and analyze data to solve complex problems. You are also taught to apply appropriate technologies in the analysis and design of information systems, as well as assess ethical, legal, and social issues. The program provides students the option of selecting a specialization, in addition to the core curriculum requirements, or choosing from a variety of elective courses. Specializations include: decision support systems and information security and assurance.

Kaplan Tuition Discounts for Military Families

Kaplan University offers a 15 percent tuition discount on all undergraduate degree programs to active-duty service members, national guard, and reserves, as well as drilling members of the national guard and reserves.

Military spouses of active-duty service members are eligible to receive a 10 percent discount off the regular tuition rate.
